I want to attend, where do I sign up?

You can utilize our handy online registration (which will close at Noon on Friday June 13th) or you can register in person during any meal over the weekend.

I can’t afford registration, can I still attend?

Please contact us promptly about getting a scholarship.

Where and when do I show up?

We encourage you to attend the opening dinner at St. Stephen’s (Friday, June 13th @ 7pm), but understand if you can’t make it. In that case you can show up to the Mary Graydon Center on American University’s main Tenley campus (Saturday, June 14th or Sunday, June 15th, both days at 10am). You can find specific directions to both of these locations here.

Do you have a place for me to sleep?

YES! We are providing housing at St. Stephen’s Church on both Friday and Saturday nights. If you are planning on staying at St. Stephen’s, you will need to provide all of you own bedding, you will be sleeping on the floor. See the directions page for information on St. Stephen’s.

Will there be food?

Heck yes! If you register you will be provided:

  • Dinner on Friday
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday
  • Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday

I have food allergies, will there be anything for me to eat?

Please contact us promptly and we’ll see what we can get worked out.

Cindy Milstein will be giving a talk entitled “Hope in a Time of Elections”

“The world as it is, is not the world as it has to be.” Long our basic aspiration, this ideal now springs from a U.S. presidential contender. And yet the gap between the change that Obama promises and the transformation that we know is crucial may offer a us space of possibility, especially at the DNC and RNC–to reject statism in a way that’s sensitive to the historical moment and prefigurative of a nonhierarchical society.

If you are interested in eating and attending this event without paying the full weekend’s registration fee there will be a $5 cover at the door.
